Delete Your Account

This page explains how to permanently delete your CGC+ account and the personal data associated with it. Account deletion is permanent and cannot be undone. You can request deletion directly from the CGC app or website, or by contacting us by email.

1. Delete From the App or Website

The fastest way to delete your account is from your account settings. You will need to sign in with your account credentials.

2. Request Deletion by Email

If you are unable to sign in, you can request deletion by emailing us at appdev@christgospel.org from the email address associated with your account. Please include:

• Your full name.
• The email address or phone number associated with your account.
• A clear statement that you want your account deleted.

We will verify your identity and process the request within 30 days.

3. What Gets Deleted

When your account is deleted, we permanently remove the following:

• Your account profile, name, email address, and phone number.
• Your library, notes, favorites, preferences, and family-plan seats.
• Your access to CGC+. You will be signed out of every device immediately.

Any active subscription is cancelled as part of account deletion.

4. Data We May Retain

After deletion, we may retain a limited set of records only where required to comply with our legal, accounting, and tax obligations — for example, billing and transaction records associated with past payments. These records are processed by our payment provider (Stripe) and are not used to re-identify you within the Service. Retention periods are limited to what applicable law requires.
